Is this a good snake or a bad snake?

Such and common question...that continues to tax my sanity. A lady sent me a picture of a rat snake today asking if this was a good snake or a bad snake? I have been asked this question so many times it is near impossible to not be sarcastic with your answer. However, because I am a gentleman I said "well, the snake is not good or bad....its a snake. It has no moral delima> However, it is a rat snake so it is non-venomous. A bite cannot hurt anyone except for a few minutes of stinging at the area tagged." Lesson for the day: all snakes in the wild will bite to defend themselves. They are not good or bad.
